The Immersion pillar works to provide our volunteers with a more realistic understanding of what it means to be homeless. These programs stress how to empathize with the homeless rather than just sympathize with them.

THREE PILLARS

PenPal

We connect students at elementary schools with youth at Rainbow Village, working to eliminate stigma by setting them up as pen pals!

Face-to-Face

We take students and adults to shelters like StandUp for Kids to talk to young and elderly homeless.

Bag-a-thon

We collect used backpacks, fund-raise for food, water, clothes, and supply kits, and distribute backpacks in-person.

Fun Friday

We recognize youth in poverty too often can't afford to go out for a great Friday. So, we bring the fun to them! Movies, cricket, and cards are fair game for Fun Fridays!

And more!

This is just a small list of what we do!

We partner with organizations including the Iron Men's and Safe House Outreach to provide medical testing on Hep C, Breast Cancer, Vision, Cholesterol, and more.

MEDICAL CAMPS

We gather hundreds of homeless to listen to medical educators to provide health education seminars on topics including HIV, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and mental health.

HEALTH EDUCATION

Homeless men and women are four times more likely than the average person to get sick. That’s why we place major emphasis on our medical initiatives.Several times throughout the year, we set up health camps and medical fairs in various locations throughout Georgia.

Social entrepreneurship is the implementation of sustainable, individualized solutions aimed at ending homelessness one person at a time. We provide scholarships, job training, and other targeted solutions.

This is a great place to tell people more about your special day and get them excited to celebrate.
